Route be done >> Clicky here.
Decided to pick up the A38 Southbound at Willington, coming off at A513/Alrewas to cope with the distance and time taken to get to the pub.
Taking the A513 West towards King's Bromley but coming off left at Daisy Lane after about a minute.
Total distance: 30.6 miles according to google 45 mins.
Or 24.7 miles if you believe TomTom
TomTom ITN file attached anyway.
Will meet you at Daisy Lane, what time do you expect to be passing there?

Hi,
Put me down for this one as I can't make the Sunday run.
Will join you at the A513 / Daisy lane Alrewas or meet you at the pub.
Nigel
Took a topless ride out there today for a gander. Note the speed humps when following the canal towards the pub.
Tried not to fall in the drink when I had to negotiate a parked van on the right hand side of the road.
So, Repton Road and Daisy Lane pickups: Please be ready to tag on the end of the convoy as it passes you.
Ok Nigel no worries, see you then.![]()
Did you try the beer? hic hic
Thats us with Nige then ,
Trevor
Beer? Me?
Nah, just a flying visit. Lots of people around sitting outside in the sunshine. Photographer over the other side, taking a few snaps of the old British Waterways van.
Will see you at the pub.
Cheers
Rich.
